Jonathan is a highly professional and dedicated school improvement consultant who has played an influential role within Warwickshire schools and neighbouring local education authorities; empowering leadership teams, individual subject leaders and class teachers to raise pupils’ attainment and progress.
Jonathan’s leadership style and personal skills enable him to work with colleagues across the school, with the ultimate goal of developing and enhancing the school’s internal capacity and sustainability; in particular, ensuring Leadership Teams have effective and robust action planning and monitoring systems, to ensure all teachers are accountable for pupils’ progress and attainment.
His particular subject specialism is mathematics; he was awarded the status of ‘Professional Development Accredited Lead’ by the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM). Jonathan has been a consultant (maths) at the University of Northampton, within the Faculty of Education & Humanities and over recent years; supporting groups of colleagues engage a two-year, Masters Level, Mathematics Specialist Teacher Programme (MaST), a programme that has significantly enhanced the learning outcomes of pupils.
